·        Things are coming out about the Mar-a-Lago FBI raid that make the FBI look even worst that they already did. DOJ source calls raid a ‘spectacular backfire’ claims AG Garland didn’t approve it. FBI Quest for Trump Documents started with breezy chats, tour of a crowded closet. Eric Trump tells Daily what REALLY happened in FBI raid. This whole thing stunk to high heaven from the get go, but it’s looking even worse as more information keeps coming out. Before this is all over, Christopher Wray may be looking at jail time.

·        Trump’s lawyers describe the irregularities of the Mar-a-Lago raid. And Trump Reveals More Details on Mar-a-Lago Raid.

·        A Nation In Decline. John Podhoretz (no Trump fan) calls this three-minute clip the most effective short piece of political communication since Reagan in 1979-1980. As Steven Hayward points out, it is interesting what isn’t mentioned in this clip. The 2020 election. It seems obvious that Trump is running again, although I don’t expect him to announce before the midterms.

·        From Zero To Nero. Joe and Kamala both were out taking a victory lap following the CPI release claiming that the release showed “zero inflation last month.” Sorry, but whoever fed them this line is economically illiterate. It was pushed by Council of Economic Advisers member Jared Bernstein, who is not an economist by academic standards. As he has said, he is “self-trained.” He is always willing to make the data fit the narrative, so he is perfectly qualified to serve in this administration.

·        Almost a parody. This article on The DOJ and FBI seem to be in a box with no opening. Any journalist who quotes the totally insignificant George Conway is clearly in desperate straits.

·        As I predicted, there appears to be what I’m sure these idiots didn’t anticipate. A Trafalgar Group poll shows that over 70 percent of those polled said the FBI raid on Trump’s residence would increase their motivation to vote.

·        Many have claimed that the problem with the FBI is the executive floor and that the rank and file agents are not a part of the problem. This is a chance for them to prove it. Sen. Ron Johnson has issured an invitation.

Johnson then called for the “brave men and women” who work at the FBI and the DOJ and are “frustrated and concerned” with what is going on at their agencies to “come forward” and share their concerns with his office. We’ll see if his phone rings off the hook. If not, things are worse than we thought.

·        Of course they do after what happened in 2020. Most Americans Support Election Audits Immediately After Polling Day.

·        Now here’s an amendment I can get behind. NC Rep Ted Budd wants to redirect the billions in IRS spending to Border Security.

·        The term “crossing the Rubicon” has been used by a number of people to describe the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago. For those of you who don’t remember your history, Newt Gingrich explains the derivation.

·        Pretty typical response. I’ve had the same experience. Once questioned and asked for specific examples, liberals seem to get tongue tied or just end the conversation.

·        I’m told by someone that should know that the Harpeth Hall Board had adopted a policy but wasn’t going to publicize it. Apparently a board member who was not happy with it decided to leak it and that’s why it is all over the news. Whatever happened to “Just Say No” to this lunacy? Elite Nashville Girls School, Founded in 1865, Announces Transgender Girls Are Welcome.

·        Good metaphor. Democrats Keep Throwing Their Hail Mary Passes Wildly Out of Bounds
