In The News:

·        Thought of the Day: Whatever you’re doing today, do it with all the confidence of a four-year-old in a Batman T-Shirt. I learned how well my four-year old’s vocabulary was coming along when at age 4 we knocked on a neighbor’s door while trick-or-treating. My son was dressed as Batman and the door was opened by one of his 4-year-old friends wearing the same costume. My son asked him who he was and the little boy said, “Batman.” My son looked him in the eye and said, “No you’re not. You’re an imposter!”

·        Having an effective back-up system isn’t something that can be ignored. There have been several ransom attacks on hospitals and municipalities that have forced the entities involved to pay the criminals who perpetrated them in order to get back access to their information. The Cyber Security company that solves this problem is going to make a fortune.

·        Joe Biden has a new slogan, Make America Normal Again. He should have some blue hats made up with MANA on them. It will remind voters what the liberals and socialists would like us to be dependent on, manna from politicians.

·        IQ’s are dropping in many developed countries. That shouldn’t be a surprise for anyone who’s been watching what’s going on in Congress. The article starts off by saying that people are getting dumber and that it isn’t a judgement, it’s a fact. Rep. Nadler call your office. “So, if IQ scores are dropping, that could only mean 15 more seasons of the Kardashians...”

·        As the illegal immigration problem worsens, if that’s even possible, this is a sentiment unfortunately that is likely to become more widespread. “We can be called racist and we’ll just smile. Because we don’t care.” Locals in Murrieta are worried about illegal migrants being shipped in from Texas. If you don’t think we are in the midst of a full-blown emergency, you haven’t been paying attention. Because of Congress’ refusal to act, we are turning loose thousands of illegals on the streets with no expectation that they will show up for their court hearings, which might be two years in the futures. It is INSANE! We all need to take a cue from Howard Beale, “I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take this anymore!”

·        Well, he’s done it now. In a campaign appearance, Joe Biden “dared to blaspheme our Supreme Dignity.” That would be Kim Jong Un for those of you who aren’t familiar with his other titles. He went on to call Joe “a low IQ idiot.” Sounds like Trump is feeding him lines.

·        Recent polls show public opinion has undergone a significant shift. 64% think FBI knew the dossier was unreliable when they applied for a search warrant against Trump campaign.

·        Australia seems to be undergoing a repeat of what we saw in the U.S. after the 2016 election. As the author says, “It’s pretty much a hard political law that when the right loses an election, they tend to blame themselves. If, on the other hand, the left loses they blame the voters, who are either evil or dumb. Or they blame the electoral system. The same system that seems to work OK every time they win, all of a sudden becomes problematic, outdated and deeply flawed when they don’t.”

·        From Bloomberg News, not exactly a bastion of conservative opinion. The New Right Is Beating the New Left. Everywhere. It’s a good article written by someone who realizes that his views are not resonating and that a “new political era” may be upon us.

·        It would be easy to do a whole issue of In The News on the problems in California. This is a letter to Gov. Newsome form a parent who “wanted to make sure Governor Newsome knew of the heartbreak and damage his policies are causing California families.” Read the letter. It is a powerful and realistic indictment of what the government is doing, not just in California. The governor, meanwhile, is blaming the rest of the country for California’s homeless problem.

·        Drawing on the historical record of socialist economic ideas, Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have proposed a new Main Battle Tank for the U.S. Army to replace the Abrams.

·        Firewall with Bill Whittle: Fear and Justice. A very good and well worth watching piece from Bill Whittle. A Whiff of Justice and the Smell of Fear. “For the first time in ten years I began to detect a whiff of cool, clean mountain air in this stinking, gangrenous septic ward that used to be a government.” Pretty descriptive.

·        If I had to listen to this pluperfect idiot, much less take any of her hairbrained lunacy seriously, you could just go ahead and shoot me. Alexandria Occasional-Cortex on growing urban community gardens without being colonialist.

·        You may remember how CNN and MSNBC embraced creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti, I do. Have you ever seen a more gullible group of nitwits? They’ve been, not surprisingly, reticent recently to push him as a Democratic presidential candidate, something they did at the time. He’s now been indicted again. This time for forging client Stormy Daniels signature and embezzling her book advances. He’s facing over 400 years in prison on all the charges combined. The guy who got it dead right was Tucker Carlson.

·        In 2013 National Geographic, The National Resources Defense Council and noted climatologist Dick Durbin were blaming lower water levels in the Great Lakes on Global Warming. Haven’t heard them explain recently why water levels in the Great Lakes are near all-time highs
