·        First-term Congresswoman Veronica Escobar has been sending members of her staff to Juarez to coach potential asylum seekers, read that illegal immigrants and potential Democrats, on how to game the system and make it into the U.S. I would think some punitive action is called for and I’m sure Nancy Pelosi will begin proceedings. I’m also sure pigs will fly.

·        Oh boy! Another potential candidate trying to shoehorn himself into the Democratic Presidential Clown Car. Tom Steyer, described by Politico as a billionaire environmental activist, has apparently decided to throw his hat into the ring. A better description would be unhinged billionaire, uber-leftist with terminal TDS. Tom is the guy who has wasted millions running ads urging the impeachment of President Trump. I’m all for him wasting his money on his own campaign instead of donating to others.

·        Starbucks had distanced itself from the overly “woke” employee who asked some Tempe, AZ police officers to leave by apologizing. The company has had a tendency to be a little too “woke” and it is good to see them make the statement they did.

·        According to a Washington Post/ABC News poll, President’s Trump’s approval rating has jumped to its highest level of his presidency. Wonder why now that people are getting a good look at the calm, reasoned and totally unhinged proposals of his Democratic challengers? I mean who could possibly not be in favor of spending billions on universal free healthcare for illegal aliens? Come on.

·        Who knew bass couldn’t hold their liquor? The runoff from a Jim Beam warehouse fire in Versailles, KY has caused a fish kill in Glenns Creek and the Kentucky River. The warehouse held 45,000 barrels of whiskey. For those of you who don’t know, it’s not pronounced Ver Sigh in Kentucky. It’s Ver Sails. Just FYI.

·        Small Business seeing the best economy in 50 years. It represents half of GDP.

·        Last week wasn’t a good week for the liberals and media who beclowned themselves hyperventilating over the Fourth of July celebration in the nation’s Capital. As the Washington Post said, Trump made them look small. …”a dampened but undeterred Donald made fools of the lot, serving as a modest, rain-soaked moderator for the national celebration of a nation paying tribute to itself for its founding accomplishments and leading role in this world.Read the whole piece but at least the last four paragraphs.

·        No wonder Democrats are spazzing in place. Gov’t Dependency Plunges Under Trump-Why Aren’t We Celebrating? The numbers are impressive.

·         Is there anyone not benefitting from this booming economy? Well, yes (here come my crocodile tears). “Before 2019 is over, there will be upwards of 12,000 job cuts within the American media. That’s 12,000 fewer Democrat foot soldiers; 12,000 fewer propagandists, serial liars, cheerleaders, and toadies to hold Antifa’s jacket as they beat elderly Trump supporters to death with crowbars.

Every industry in Trump’s America is expanding and thriving … except for the media.

What’s more, the Democrats primary propaganda outlet, the far-left CNN, is hemorrhaging viewers like an Ebola victim hemorrhages solid foods.” Learn to code?

·        A remembrance of just how despicable the attack on Justice Kavanaugh was. Mollie Hemingway and Carrie Severino have a book coming out today, Justice on Trial: The Kavanaugh Confirmation and the Future of the Supreme Court. Reportedly, it paints a somewhat different picture of Ms. Blasey Ford than her supporters would have you believe. Hardly surprising. As Melania Trump reportedly said to the President, “You know that women is lying, right?”

·        LBJ quote: “You know the difference between cannibals and liberals? Cannibals only eat their enemies.” Liberals are eating their friends, too.

·        New Zealand is a fraction the size of the United States and is being met with refusal to turn over firearms after a knee jerk reaction to the attacks on two Christchurch mosques. So far only 700 guns of an estimated 1.5 million have been turned in. Had they looked across at Australia they might have anticipated this reaction. Not surprisingly, criminals have indicated they intend to hold on to their guns. That’s reassuring. Not surprisingly, both New York and Connecticut have seen mass defiance of their recent draconian registration laws.

·        These miscreants are hardly the most diverse group, are they. I sense a change in the force for how people are going to deal with them in the future. Most seem to be getting good and tired of seeing these unemployed couch squatters running around with hoodies and masks on.

·        This perverted billionaire who thought he was above the law is apparently in serious trouble, now, after getting off lightly once before. A search of his Manhattan residence turned up a trove of photos he had kept. My guess is that Mr. Epstein won’t see sunlight for quite some time and I also am willing to bet he won’t go down without taking a few others with him. Some very well-known folks were frequent guests on Air Lolita and at his Caribbean hideaway.

·        What a surprise! Swal’s well well that ends well. Sorry, couldn’t help it. One of the chief clowns in the Democratic Presidential Clown Car has bowed out of the race after struggling to poll even 1%. It’s not like he ever had a snowball’s chance, but he was at least good for some cringeworthy comic relief.

·        As everyone awaits Mueller’s testimony before Congress, it may be Andrew Weissmann testifying the day after that is most revealing. Republicans should be licking their chops at the chance to question this proven liar who had abused prosecutorial powers in the past and been roundly chastised by the Supreme Court. Based on what I’ve read, he should have faced disbarment proceedings.
